Presenter(s)
- Lance Rogers - Quantum Engineers
In this webinar, we invited Lance Rogers, from Quantum Consulting Engineers and the Post Tensioning Institute of Australia, to have a close look at Detailing for Restraint in the design of Post Tensioned Concrete.
Shortening effects, play a major role in the performance and serviceability of concrete structures. For reinforced concrete, shrinkage is the major shortening effect and can generally be controlled with adequate quantity and placement of reinforcement. This webinar looks at what is required for the design and construction of post-tensioned structures to control cracking due to shortening effects and other concerns.
