Z11 Insitu Concrete Strength Assessment

This webinar invited two of the authors of the recent publication: “Z11 In-situ Concrete Strength Assessment”, to review the intent and detail of the document. The presenters are John Van Rooyen from TTW and Jonathon Dyson from BCRC.
The CIA released the new publication “Z11 In-situ Concrete Strength Assessment” in 2022. This replaced an older publication that had become obsolete and was withdrawn. There is a strong need for this document in the industry, as there is no Australian published standard, procedure or guideline for this area. Z11 covers using both cores, and Non-Destructive Testing, to assess: both the in situ characteristic strength of existing concrete structures of unknown strength, and the compressive strength class of recently supplied concrete that may be in doubt.
This webinar will provide an introduction into the key aspects into the technique of In-situ Concrete Strength Assessment.
