Decisions made about launching noses, cast bed lengths, segment arrangements, section shape and pier shapes for temporary works arrangements must be realistic and practical. From the earliest planning stages of the project through to tender design, all parties, and especially the architects must understand the constraints. This presentation aims to provide guiding principles to lead to a successful outcome.
