Technical Sales Representative Victoria

We are recruiting for a Technical Sales Representative to join us and represent Master Builders Solutions Australia in Melbourne and across the state of Victoria. The role is part of our Civil, Construction & Tunnelling (CCT) Business Unit and the successful candidate will become a key member of our national CCT team.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide sales support to clientele.
  • Provide Technical and training support to customers.
  • Manage Customer complaints and onsite issues.
  • Represent Master Builders Solutions at industry events and assist with product trials and demonstrations.
  • Drive product sales growth
  • Work collaboratively with the wider sales team to promote the product range to maximise up-sell and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Involvement with Industry people, evenings and events, including but not limited to CIA.
  • Provide customer training both theory and practical.
  • Liaise internally and externally at all levels as required.
  • Deliver sales & profitability in line with targets.
  • Maintain, update & manage SalesForce.
  • Drive innovation and Sustainable growth
  • Manage all account/Non account customers and enquiries.
  • Promote MBS brand via trade shows/ LinkedIn/ site trial and demonstrations.
  • Respond all client enquiries & technical or sales related matters within a timely manner.
  • Liaise regularly with customer service to ensure sales requirements are adequately met.
  • Provide regular up to date forecasting for all required products.
  • Engage with customers and installation partners daily, both on-site and in offices.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and problem-solving support.
  • Liaise with the technical support team to resolve customer issues.
  • Travel between sites in Melbourne and occasionally regional VIC.

Requirements:

  • Outgoing personality with excellent relationship-building skills.
  • Strong practical sense and problem-solving abilities.
  • Dedication to customer service and building trust.
  • Construction Chemical/Concrete industry/background.
  • Understanding of Construction industry/processes/technologies.
  • 5 + years sales experience
  • Knowledge of Salesforce would be an advantage but not essential.
  • Ability to work closely with a supportive team and willingness to undergo training.
  • Positive outlook, good work ethic, and ability to build relationships.

  • University graduates keen on entering the workforce and launching a career in the construction industry are encouraged to apply.
  • Trades/Construction workers interested in transitioning into sales are also welcome.
  • Legal right to work permanently in Australia.
