About the Opportunity

Mapei has an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join the Building Line team in Victoria. Working with the State Sales and Product Managers you will be given the opportunity to establish and further grow our Building Line products across the state and Tasmania.

Our Building Line products include an extensive range of Waterproofing, Concrete Repair, Structural Grouts and Chemical Anchors, Resin Flooring, Adhesives and Sealants products and system solutions.

This is an exciting opportunity to build new business relationships in the Construction industry and help us strategically grow our market share in both Victoria and Tasmania.

About the Person

To be considered for this position, candidates will have an extensive knowledge of the Construction Industry in Victoria and Tasmania, along with business relationships with key personnel within the industry.

A sound knowledge of waterproofing and/or concrete repair, structural grouts and resin flooring products/processes along with a relevant qualification (e.g. bachelor’s degree or related business or trade certificates) will be highly regarded but is not essential.

To be successful in the position you will be a self-motivated, self-directed individual with the drive to meet and exceed targets and KPIs. Your passion for sales and your ability to continually develop your skill set will play a major part in your success within this challenging role.

You are articulate and well presented with outstanding interpersonal, relationship building and communication skills, both spoken and written.

As the role will require some travel throughout Victoria and Tasmania, it is essential that you have a current and valid driver’s license. You must be eligible to work in Australia on a permanent, full-time basis to be considered for this position.

You will also need to comply with Victorian government public health orders relating to COVID-19 vaccinations for the Construction Industry.
