Three towers for Teneriffe

A development application for a three-tower residential and hotel development in Brisbane’s waterfront suburb of Teneriffe has been submitted by Kokoda Property.

To be located on the Riverside Industrial Sands site on Skyring Terrace in Teneriffe, an inner city suburb of the Queensland capital.

The Brisbane River-facing project has been designed by Cottee Parker Architects and will include 381 apartments across the three buildings.

Each tower will vary in height, scale and material from 12 to 30 storeys. Tower 1 is designed for 29 floors, tower 2 for 23, and tower 3 for 11 floors. In addition, each tower will also have a rooftop level.

Towers one and two will be connected by a sky bridge at level 14, accessed by hotel guests only.

The plan is to build the development in four stages with stage 1 comprising shorter buildings on Skyring Terrace and Commercial Road (towers 3 and 4). Stage two will be tower 2 and then stages 3 and 4 will follow, being tower 1.

According to Brisbane Development, Kokoda Property purchased the site for around $100 million earlier this year. The proposed development is expected to cost about $1.75 billion.
