The Concrete Institute of Australia offers a range of professional development opportunities that are delivered in various formats to suit our Members, including webinars, recorded presentations (eConcrete), face-to-face events, site visits and of course, our biennial Conference. Our program of professional development covers a vast number of concrete related topics that meets our mission of promoting and developing excellence in concrete research, technology, application, design and construction.
Our State Committees and Education Commitee will continue hosting face-to-face events where possible that facilitate the sharing of knowledge and experience and provide an opportunity for our Members and the concrete industry in general, to interact and network.
Webinars
Webinars have become a valuable part of our Professional Development program.
Our comprehensive schedule includes presentations from concrete experts and practitioners on various topics of interest that can be viewed from the comfort of your desk.
Our fortnightly Webinars have a duration of 1 hour and presentation materials are usually made available to delegates in the following days.
eConcrete
Our eConcrete online platform offers on demand technical presentations for as little as $22 a session and cover all aspects of concrete – technology, research, design, materials and construction.
eConcrete provides access to well-known industry experts and academics in the field of concrete, both locally and internationally, with the push of a button.
Seminars & Site Visits
Our seminars provide members and delegates with the opportunity to learn, share, and connect with colleagues within the concrete fraternity. Topics are always relevant to the local market and are aimed to inform and educate, as well as to facilitate discussion and networking.
Site visits are a great way to observe concrete being developed, tested, and used, as well as understanding design and practical application to achieve outstanding results.
Biennial Conference
Every two years we look forward to engaging with colleagues from around Australia and the world at the Concrete Institute of Australia’s’ National Conference.
In 2025, we will be heading to Adelaide and program will include keynote speakers, invited speakers and over 150 technical presentations.
The Conference is dedicated to bringing together global leaders in the concrete industry, to discuss and share information.
