All Concrete Institute of Australia (CIA) members are bound by our Constitution.
As a company limited by guarantee, CIA members provide a guarantee under our Constitution in the event of a winding up. The guarantee is limited to $20.
CIA Professional membership and its rights are personal to the member and are not transferable.
Membership Application
Eligibility for CIA membership is subject to our receipt of your completed Membership Application Form and payment of the membership fee.
In your Membership Application Form, you are required to provide true and correct information, and make a declaration about certain matters. Please provide as much detail as possible so that your application can be processed.
Whilst we aim to advise you of the membership application status within approximately one week from submission, in some instances, this process may take longer.
A membership of the Concrete Institute of Australia is for a period of 12 months.
Membership Renewal
Your CIA membership must be renewed every 12 months and we generally send a notice of renewal approximately 1 – 2 months before the renewal date via email. Please keep your contact information up to date and if you would prefer to receive a paper copy, please let us know.
Refund of Membership Fees
As a general rule, we do not refund membership fees but consideration will be given in exceptional circumstances.
FREE Webinar for Professional & Young Professional Members in 1st Year
Professional and Young Professional Members receive a complimentary webinar in their first year of membership. This promotion is available for our weekly webinar held on a Thursday and others as deemed available for this promotion. If your promotional code is valid for the event, it will be accepted at the time of registration. It can only be used once, regardless of the value of the event.
FREE eConcrete for Professional & Young Professional Members in 1st Year
Professional and Young Professional Members receive a complimentary eConcrete download of their choice in their first year of membership. Please email the Membership Services Manager (member@concreteinstitute.com.au) with the details of the eConcrete and access will be arranged. It can only be used once, regardless of the value of the event.
Privacy
By submitting a Membership Application Form, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the CIA Privacy Policy and agree with and consent to the practices described in that Privacy Policy.
General
From time to time, we may update these Terms and Conditions. The updated Terms and Conditions will apply to all membership applications from the time of posting on our website onwards.
