When you become a member, you will be supporting the Concrete Institute of Australia’s mission to promote and develop excellence in concrete research, technology, application, design and construction.
To ensure we are able to support and service as much of the sector as possible, we offer Professional, Company and Academic Membership.
Professional Membership
Our Members come from various backgrounds, including design, engineering, construction, supply and industry practitioners, but they all have one thing in common – a love of concrete. This membership provides access to an extensive library of information and resources, professional development opportunities delivered by leading experts both online and face to face and the ability to build key networks with other professionals with a shared interest in concrete.
Company Membership
Our Company Membership allows organisations, both large and small to benefit from our services.
Each level of membership offers nominated Representatives with the full list of benefits provided in the Professional Membership which ensures you are providing your committed employees with access to resources, tools, information, professional development and up to date information.
Academic Membership
Educational providers are encouraged to promote their membership with the Concrete Institute of Australia and support their nominated Representatives with the benefits of a Professional Membership.
In addition, full-time Students of Academic Members enrolled in a course related to concrete technology and practice – can join for FREE. This allows us to support and encourage the next generation of concrete specialists and experts.
2024 Membership Fees
From 1 January 2024, the Concrete Institute of Australia is applying a small increase to both our Professional and Company Membership Fees. In the past 3 years, the Institute has only applied one increase whilst we supported the membership through the various stages of the pandemic. The new fees are:

| Silver Company Membership | $5,600 |

| Academic Membership | $1,550 |
We have also increased the cost of the subscription to Australian Standards Online to $320 (inc of GST) per year. The CIA continues to subsidise a portion of this subscription to ensure that it is accessible to as many of our Professional Members as possible. There will be no change to the renewal fee of $185 for the ACI-CIA Joint Membership.
The new fees will be applied to all memberships due for renewal on 1 January 2024 and after.
