Around 100 construction jobs and establishment roles along with more than $65 million in private investment are set to flow into the Parkes Special Activation Precinct, with three new businesses planning operations at the regional NSW site.

Strengthening works are about to begin on four bridges along the Princes Highway at Warragul and Drouin in Victoria, with the upgrades set to improve freight efficiency, connectivity and road safety along one of Gippsland’s key transport corridors.
A paper has been published in Frontiers in Built Environment titled ‘A spatial digital twin framework for urban built environments: case studies in Victoria’, Australia’ by researchers from The University of Melbourne.
Pre-construction works are underway, laying the groundwork for the Western Freeway upgrade in western Melbourne before the heavy machinery arrives. These involve detailed planning and design, as well as teams out on-site checking ground conditions.
