Event Summary
Innovative Access for High-Risk Facade Remediation and Containment
Summary: The webinar will showcase a recently completed project where over 200 tonnes of render and concrete breakout works were required on a significantly delaminating façade where 2 tonnes of material had fallen from a 30-story building in the centre of the Perth CBD (Adelaide Terrace). Traditional access methods commonly used to conduct access and contain works of this nature would not work on this facility. Itero was able to engineer and implement a completely new method of accessing and conducting these works that is a world first, which also proved to be far safer and more efficient than other traditional methods. This project and its solution have been shortlisted for the National Safety Awards due to be announced in Sydney in November. This presentation will demonstrate the projects challenges and solutions implemented to successfully deliver in a short time frame and show how this can be applied to other façade remediation and concrete repair projects on high rise facilities.
The webinar will run, as a live presentation, from 2.00pm to approximately 3.00pm (AEDT). It is conducted online on the Zoom platform and delegates will be emailed login details and a password for this webinar prior to the event.
