Event Summary
The first CIA South Australia Concrete Rising Stars event is to be held on 15 November 2024.
The Rising Stars event is designed for invited students who have completed their final year project on a concrete related topic, to come and present their work to the industry. With a mission to promote and develop excellence in concrete research technology, application, design, and construction throughout Australia, the Institute’s vision is “excellence in concrete” and this is what our Rising Stars will be aiming for. The Rising Stars will showcase their projects during the event and delegates will be asked to vote for their favourite work, with the winners being presented with some prizes.
The evening will also include a presentation from local South Australian contractor and business owner, Andrew Marshall, Managing Director of Marshall and Brougham Constructions.
The Rising Stars event will provide students a fantastic opportunity to be recognised for their hard work during the year, to network with potential future employers, and to have a chance to celebrate with the sponsors and members of the CIA.
