Event Summary
Buried Concrete Structures
Summary: The webinar looks at buried concrete infrastructure as an engineered system. Presenter's will cover the structural role of concrete pipes, box culverts, access sewer shafts, pits, and headwalls - then connect performance and durability to lower-carbon design and procurement. The aim is to keep the engineering rigorous while making the main ideas accessible to people who do not work with buried structures every day.
The webinar will run, as a live presentation, from 2.00pm to approximately 3.00pm (AEDT). It is conducted online on the Zoom platform and delegates will be emailed login details and a password for this webinar prior to the event.
