The Miramar is stunning example of creative engineering and architectural skills to create a truly beautiful building. The organic smooth curves of the concrete exemplify the potential for monolithic concrete architecture to feel fluid and soft. Engineering is used to resolve issues of requisite strength through massive columns, column heads and cantilevered street canopies. In-situ concrete was adopted to provide the best structural solution, combined with the achievement of the complex column and canopy soffit shapes.

The project also features:

  • Off form concrete canopies at street level
  • Post tensioned floor slabs and roof
  • Bored piers to basement

The Miramar is a boutique mixed use development comprising 26 apartments and 3 commercial tenancies over 3 levels, plus basement car park and storage. It is contextually responsive to the Victorian seaside community and the surrounding landscape of the Mornington Peninsula.

The webinar will run from 2.00pm to approximately 3.00pm (AESDT) and delegates will be emailed login details and a password for this webinar 24 hours prior to the event.
