Aurecon will have a new group chief executive from the beginning of July 2025, the company has announced.
The Concrete Institute of Australia Gold member’s current Chief Operating Officer, Louise Adams, who has been with Aurecon for 25 years, has been promoted to appointed to Group CEO effective July 2025.
Aurecon Chair Giam Swiegers said Ms Adams, who will be the company’s first female Group CEO, has an “outstanding track record [with] razor-sharp insights” and will lead the Asia Pacific region.
Ms Adams said society was currently in an era where complex problems required solutions based on engineering, science and technology combined with sound human judgement.
In addition, Aurecon has appointed a new CEO for Australia, Todd Battley, from outside the company. Mr Battley came come across from Concrete Institute Silver member AECOM to Aurecon last month where he had held roles including Chief Strategy Officer and Chief Executive for Australia and New Zealand.
Mr Battley is based in Brisbane while Ms Adams is based in Melbourne.
